Cyclonic dirt, separation vacuums, including: Airstream, Hayden, and Vacu-flo central vacuums, purchased from Grohovac Installations all have cyclonic dirt separation designed into the cannister. This allows most of the dirt to be filtered out without going through a permeable surface (aka a filter!)
However, there is always a small amount of light dust that follows the air as it enters into the motor chamber. While Airstream central vacuums and Hayden central vacuums, came with washable foam and washable cartridge filters, which still can be purchased from us, VacuFlo central vacuums come with disposable cartridge filters.
